I Am The Way, The Truth And The Life.

JOHN 14 V 6

Believe In God. Believe In Jesus.

Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there you may also be. And where I go, you know, and the way you know. John 14 vs 1-4.

Jesus The Only Way To The Father.

Thomas said unto Jesus, Lord, we do not know where You are going and how then can we know the way? Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father but by Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also: and from henceforth you know Him, and have seen Him, Philip said unto Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us. John 14 v 5-8.

The Father Revealed In Jesus.

Jesus said unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known Me, Philip? Read More. “I Am The Way, The Truth And The Life.”

I Am The Resurrection, And The Life.

JOHN 11 V 25-26

Jesus, The Resurrection And The Life.

Then when Jesus came, He found that Lazarus had lain in the grave for four days already. Now Bethany was near to Jerusalem, about two miles away: And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary to comfort them concerning their brother. Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary sat still in the house. Then Martha said unto Jesus, Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now, whatsoever You will ask of God, God will give it to You.Jesus said unto her, Your brother shall rise again. Martha said unto Him, and I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this? Martha said yes, Lord I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who would come into the world. John 11 vs 17-27.

Jesus Wept.

And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come and is calling for you. Read More. “I Am The Resurrection, And The Life.”

I Am The True Vine,

JOHN 15 V 1-2.

Jesus, The True And Only Vine.

I am the true Vine, and My Father is the husbandman. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, He purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. John 15 vs 1-3

The Need To Continue To Abide.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in Me. I am the Vine, you are the branches: He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing. If a man does not abide in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words shall abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be My disciples. I Am The Good Shepherd .

JOHN 10 V 11,14

Jesus, The Good Shepherd.

I am the Good Shepherd, the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But he that is a hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees and the wolf catches them and scatters the sheep the hireling flees because he is a hireling, and does not care for the sheep. I am the Good Shepherd, and I know My sheep, and I am known of Mine. As the Father knows Me, even so, I know the Father: and I lay down My life for the sheep.

There Is Only One Shepherd And One Fold.

And other sheep I have, who are not of this fold: these also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore does My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, that I might take it again. No man takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it again. This commandment have I received of My Father. John 10 v 11-18.

I Am The Door.

JOHN 10 V 9

Jesus, The Exclusive Shepherd.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that does not enter into the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that enters in by the door is the Shepherd of the sheep. To Him, the porter opens and the sheep hear His voice: and He calls His own sheep by name, and leads them out. And when He puts forth His own sheep, He goes before them, and the sheep follow Him: for they know His voice and a stranger they will not follow but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable Jesus spoke unto them: but they did not understand what things they were which Jesus spoke unto them.

Jesus Came To Give Abundant Life.

Then Jesus said unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the Door of the sheep. All that ever came before Me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the Door: if any man enters in by Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. Read More. “I Am The Door.”

I Am The Light Of The World.

JOHN 8 V 12

Jesus, The Light Of Life.

Then Jesus spake again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. The Pharisees, therefore, said unto Jesus, You bear a record of Yourself; your record is not true. Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of Myself, yet My record is true: for I know from where I came, and also where I go; but you cannot tell where I came from, and where I go.

You judge after the flesh; I judge no man. And yet if I judge, My judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father Who sent Me. It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bears witness of Myself, and the Father Who sent Me bears witness of Me. Then they said unto Him, Where is Your Father? Jesus answered, saying you do not know Me nor my Father: if you had known Me, you should also have known My Father. These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as He taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come. Read More. “I Am The Light Of The World.”

I Am The Bread Of Life.

JOHN 6 V 35

The Work Of The Father Is To Believe In Jesus.

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, You seek Me, not because you saw the miracles, but because you did eat of the loaves and were filled. Labour not for the meat that perishes but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of Man shall give unto you, for God the Father has sealed Him. Then the people said unto Jesus,  What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on Him whom the Father has sent. They said therefore unto Jesus, What sign will You show that we may see and believe you? What work will you do? Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

Jesus, The Bread From Heaven.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses did not give you that bread from heaven, but it was My Father Who gave you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He Who comes down from heaven and gives life unto the world. Read More. “I Am The Bread Of Life.”

The Assurance Of The Name Of Jesus.

JOHN 15 V 16

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12–14

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give it to you. John 15:16

In that day, you will ask nothing of Me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive that your joy may be full. I have said these things to you in figures of speech. The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech but will tell you plainly about the Father. Read More. “The Assurance Of The Name Of Jesus.”

Prayer And Humility.

LUKE 18 V 14

Jesus also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt: “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.” Luke 18 v 9-14.

Pray Always And Do Not Lose Heart.

LUKE 18 V 6-8

And Jesus told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’ ” And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” Luke 18 v 1-8.
