And when Jesus was departed from there, He went into their synagogue: And, behold, there was a man who had his withered hand. And they asked Jesus, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? That they might accuse Him. And Jesus said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. Then Jesus said to the man, Stretch forth your hand. And the man stretched it forth, and it was restored whole, like as the other. Then the Pharisees went out and held a council against Jesus, how they might destroy Him. Matthew 12 vs 9-14.
And Jesus entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand. So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might a reason to accuse Him. And it came to pass when Jesus had made an end of commanding His twelve disciples; He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities. Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples unto Jesus. And they said unto Jesus,” are you He that should come”, or do we look for another? Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and show John again those things which you hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hears, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. Then the disciples of John reported to him concerning all these things. And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to Jesus, saying, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” When the men had come to Jesus, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?’ ” And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight. And when Jesus had called unto Him His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him. Matthew 9 v 1-4.
These twelve Jesus sent forth and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans do not enter. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when Jesus saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad, like sheep having no shepherd. Then Jesus said unto the disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray you, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest. Matthew 9 vs 35-38.
When Jesus heard of it, He departed by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed Him on foot out of the cities. And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick. And when it was evening, the disciples came to Jesus, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. And when Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed after Him, crying and saying, You Son of David, have mercy on us. And when Jesus entered into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus said unto them, do you believe that I am able to do this? They said unto Him, Yes, Lord. Then Jesus touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith, be it unto you. And their eyes were opened, and Jesus charged them, saying, See that no man know it. But they, when they were departed, spread abroad His fame in all that country. Matthew 9 vs 27-31.
While Jesus spoke these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live. And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did the disciples. And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed Him to scorn. But when the people were put forth, Jesus went in and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. And the fame of Him went abroad into all that land. Matthew 9 v 18-19, 23-26.
Now when Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to Him; and He was by the sea. And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Jesus, he fell at His feet and begged Jesus earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. And, behold, a woman, who was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind Jesus and touched the hem of His garment: For she had said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned about, and when He saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; your faith has made you whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. And when Jesus came into the ruler’s house and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise, He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed Him to scorn. But when the people were put forth, Jesus went in and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. And the fame of Him went abroad into all that land. Matthew 9 vs 18-26.
And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. And Jesus entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into His own city. And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think you evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, you sins are forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and walk? But that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, then Jesus said to the sick of the palsy, Arise, take up your bed, and go unto your house. And the man arose and departed to his house. But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled and glorified God, which had given such power unto men. Matthew 9 vs 1-7.

And when Jesus came into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. When the even was come, they brought unto Jesus many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Matthew 8 vs 14-17.
Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Jesus about her at once. So Jesus came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. Now Jesus arose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. But Simon’s wife’s mother was]sick with a high fever, and they made request of Jesus concerning her. And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto Him a centurion, beseeching Him, And said, Lord, my servant lies at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus said unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that you should come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.
When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to them that followed, truly I say unto you, I have not found so great a faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
