The Healing Of The Leper.

MATTHEW 8 V 3.

When Jesus had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And, behold, a leper came and worshipped Him, saying,” Lord if You will You can make me clean.”And Jesus put forth His hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be you clean. And immediately, his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said unto him, See that you tell no man; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. Matthew 8 vs 1-4.

Now a leper came to Jesus, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” As soon as Jesus had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed. And Jesus strictly warned him and sent him away at once, and said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing those things which Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” However, he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the matter, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter the city, but was outside in deserted places; and they came to Him from every direction. The Healing Of A Multitude.

healing matt 4 v 23-24

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And His fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto Him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and Jesus healed them. And there followed Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan. Matthew 4 vs 23-25.

Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea. And a great multitude from Galilee followed after Him, and from Judea and Jerusalem and Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and those from Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard how many things Jesus was doing, they came to Him. So Jesus told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him because of the multitude, lest they should crush Him. For He healed many so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to touch Him. And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Jesus, fell down before Him and cried out, saying, “You are the Son of God.” Read More. “The Healing Of A Multitude.”

And Be Glorified By His Father.

JOHN 12 V 27.

My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour? but for this cause, I came unto this hour. Father, glorify Your name. Then there came a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. The people that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to Jesus. Jesus answered and said, This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all unto Me. This, Jesus said, signifying what death He should die. John 12 vs 27-33.

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You: As You have given Him to have power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is life eternal, that they might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. Read More. “And Be Glorified By His Father.”

To Give Us Abundant Life.

JOHN 10 V 10.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that does not enter into the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that enters in by the door is the Shepherd of the sheep. To Him, the porter opens and the sheep hear His voice: and He calls His own sheep by name, and leads them out. And when He puts forth His own sheep, He goes before them, and the sheep follow Him: for they know His voice and a stranger they will not follow but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable Jesus spoke unto them: but they did not understand what things they were which Jesus spoke unto them.

Then Jesus said unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the Door of the sheep. All that ever came before Me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the Door: if any man enters in by Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. Jesus Came To Die For The Sin Of The World.

JOHN 12 V 27

And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: The same came therefore to Philip, who was of Bethsaida of Galilee and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. Philip went to tell Andrew and they went to tell Jesus. Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come, that the Son of Man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit. He that loves his life shall lose it, and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be: if any anyone serves me,  My Father will honour them.

Jesus Came As The Bread Of Life.

JOHN 6 V 51

All that the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and they that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of the Father Who sent Me. And this is the Father’s will Who has sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of the Father Who has sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and shall believes on Him may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Jews then murmured at Jesus, because He said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that He is saying, I came down from heaven? Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. No man can come to Me, except the Father Who has sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

To Preach The Gospel Of The Kingdom.

LUKE 4 V 43

And Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and, as His custom was, Jesus went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto Jesus the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, Jesus found the place where it was written. The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.Luke 4 vs 16-19.

And when it was day, Jesus departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought after Him, and came unto Jesus, and asked Him to remain with them so that he should not depart from them. And Jesus said unto them, I must preach the Kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore I am sent. And Jesus preached in the synagogues of Galilee. Luke 4 vs 42-44.

In the evening, when the sun had set, they brought to Him all who were sick and those who were demon-possessed. Read More. “To Preach The Gospel Of The Kingdom.”

Jesus Came To Bear Witness Of The Truth.

JOHN 18 V 37

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if My kingdom were of this world, then would My servants’ fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is My kingdom not from here. Pilate, therefore, said unto Jesus, are You a king then? Jesus answered you say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.John 18 v 36-37.

Jesus Came As The Light Into The World.

. wdjc light

Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on Me, believes not on Me, but on the Father that sent Me. And he that sees Me sees Him that sent Me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on Me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hears My words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father Who sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that His commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto Me, so I speak. John 12 verses 44-50.

To Save Those Who Were Lost.

MATTHEW 18 V 1.

Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of My Father who is in heaven. For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think you? if a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety and nine, and goes into the mountains, and seek after that which has gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoices more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father Who is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. Matthew 18 vs 10-14.
