Jesus Heals the Man Born Blind.

SPITTLE

And as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Jesus, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him, I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night comes when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When Jesus had spoken, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, he went his way, therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

The neighbours, and they who before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? Some said This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he. Therefore they said unto him, How were your eyes opened? He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. The Commission To The Believer.

GREAT COMMISSION

Later, Jesus appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Mark 16 v 14-20.

The Healing Of The Blindman In Bethsaida.

BLIND MAN RESTORED

Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.”Mark 8 vs 22-26.

The Healing Ministry Of Jesus. The Healing Of The Deaf Mute.

MARK 7 V 37.

As they went out, behold, they brought to Jesus a dumb man possessed by a devil. And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel. But the Pharisees said He casts out devils through the prince of the devils. Matthew 9 vs 32-34.

Again, departing from the region of Tyre and Sidon, Jesus came through the midst of the region of Decapolis to the Sea of Galilee. Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him. And Jesus took him aside from the multitude and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue. Then, looking up to heaven, Jesus sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. Then Jesus commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.” Read More. “The Healing Ministry Of Jesus. The Healing Ministry Of Jesus. Jesus Raises Lazarus.

LAZARUS

Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. It was that Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was now sick. Therefore his sisters sent unto Jesus saying, Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick. When Jesus heard that, He said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. Now Jesus loved Martha, Mary and Lazarus. When Jesus had heard, therefore, that Lazarus was sick, He abode two days still in the same place where He was.

Then after that, Jesus said to His disciples, Let us go into Judaea again. His disciples said unto Him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone You, and now You go there again? Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walks in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of this world. But if a man walks in the night, he will stumble because there is no light in him. These things Jesus said, and after that He said unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Read More. “The Healing Ministry Of Jesus. Jesus Raises Lazarus.”

BLIND

And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed Jesus. And, behold, two blind men sitting by the wayside, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David. And the multitude rebuked them because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David. And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What would you have Me to do unto you? They said unto Jesus, Lord, that our eyes may be opened. So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him. Matthew 20 vs 29-34.

Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Jesus Heals a Boy with a Demon.

jesus delivers boy

And when they came to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to Jesus, and said, Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for often he falls into the fire, and often into the water And I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him. Then Jesus said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him here to Me. And Jesus rebuked the devil, and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting. Matthew 17 vs 14-21.

And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them. Read More. “Jesus Heals a Boy with a Demon.”

Multitudes Are Healed.

JESUS HEALS MULTITUDE

And Jesus departed from there and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee, and He went up into a mountain and sat down there. And great multitudes came unto Jesus, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and they cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and He healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel. Matthew 15 v 29-31.

The Healing Of The Syro-Phoenician’s Daughter.

GREAT FAITH

And behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto Jesus, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and besought Jesus saying, Send her away; for she cries after us. But Jesus answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then she came and worshipped Jesus, saying, Lord, help me. But He answered and said, It is not proper to take the children’s bread and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is your faith: be it unto you even as you would. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. Matthew 15 vs 22-28.

From there Jesus arose and went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And He entered a house and wanted no one to know it, but He could not be hidden. A woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Jesus, and she came and fell at His feet. Read More. “The Healing Of The Syro-Phoenician’s Daughter.”

Jesus Heals at Gennesaret.

HEALING THROUGH TOUCH

And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. And when the men of that place had knowledge of Jesus, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto Jesus all that were diseased; And besought Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole. Matthew 14 v34-36

When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret and anchored there. And when they came out of the boat, immediately the people recognized Jesus, and they ran through that whole surrounding region and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard where Jesus was. Wherever Jesus entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Jesus were made well. Mark 6 vs 53-56.
