Faith In A Believers Life.

MARK 11 V 20-22.

Faith Is Trust In The Father.

Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you; whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11 v 20-24.

And why take you thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Matthew 6 v 28-30

Faith Is Taking Jesus At His Word.

So it was, as the multitude pressed about Jesus to hear the word of God, that He stood by the Lake of Gennesaret and saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. Then Jesus got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And Jesus sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.
When Jesus had finished speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” Luke 5 v 1-4.

But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word, I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signalled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” Luke 5 v 5-8.

Faith Receives The Full Salvation.

And Jesus entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into His own city. And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes.

And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think you evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, you sins are forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and walk?  But that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, then Jesus said to the sick of the palsy, Arise, take up your bed, and go unto your house. And the man arose and departed to his house. But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled and glorified God, which had given such power unto men. Matthew 9 vs 1-7

Faith Comes By Hearing.

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. Mark 5 v 27.

Faith Involves Action.

For she said If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. Mark 5 v 28-29.

And Jesus entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand. So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might a reason to accuse Him. And Jesus said to the man who had the withered hand, “Step forward.” Then Jesus said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they kept silent. And when Jesus had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other. Then the Pharisees went out and immediately plotted with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him. Mark 3 vs 1-6.

Faith Draws The Anointing.

And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned Him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And His disciples said unto Jesus, You see the multitude thronging You and say Who touched Me? And Jesus looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before Him, and told Jesus all the truth. And Jesus said unto her, Daughter, your faith has made you whole; go in peace and be whole of your plague. Mark 5 v 30-34.

Do Not Let Doubt Nor Unbelief Rob You.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17v20

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If you have faith and doubt not, you shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if you shall say unto this mountain, Be you removed, and be cast into the sea; it shall be done. Matthew 21v 21-22
