The Believer And The Father’s Will.

Jesus Came To Do Father’s Will.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: whoever comes to Me shall never hunger; and he that believes on Me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That you also have seen Me, and believe not. All that the Father gives Me shall come to Me, and they that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me. John 6:35-38.

Believing In Jesus Is The Father’s Will.

And this is the Father’s will Who has sent Me, that of all He has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of the Father that sent Me, that every one who sees the Son, and believes on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:39-40.

Jesus Acknowledges Those Who Will Believe In Him.

Then His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him. And a multitude was sitting around Him; and they said to Jesus, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You.” Read More. “The Believer And The Father’s Will.”

The Believer Not Of The World.

Believers Are To Be In The World.

You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My Name, He may give it you. These things I command you, that you love one another. John 15:16-17.

I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. John 17:9-12.

Believers Will Be Hated By The World.

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world; therefore, the world hates you. John 15:18-19. Read More. “The Believer Not Of The World.”

The Father Honours Those Who Serve And Follow Jesus.

All Men Should Honour Jesus.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do: for what things soever He does, these also does the Son likewise. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does: and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickens them; even so the Son quickens whom He will. For the Father judges no man but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honours not the Son honours not the Father who has sent Him. John 5:19-23.

Honour Comes From The Father.

I receive not honour from men. But I know you, that you have not the love of God in you. I have come in My Father’s name, and you receive Me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. How can you believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that comes from God only? Read More. “The Father Honours Those Who Serve And Follow Jesus.”

Abiding In The Vine.

Jesus Is The True Vine.

I am the true vine, and My Father is the husbandman. He takes away every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, and He purges every branch that bears fruit, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. John 15: 1-3.

Total Dependence In The Vine.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in Me. I am the Vine, you are the branches: He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing. John 15: 4-5.

Abide In Jesus’s Word.

If a man does not abide in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words shall abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15: 6-7.

Fruit Bearing Glorifies The Father.

Herein is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be My disciples. Read More. “Abiding In The Vine.”

Prayer In Jesus Name.

The Father Is Glorified In Answered Prayer.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will also do; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12-14.

Love Is An Important Quality In Prayer.

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing, but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. Becoming The Children Of The Father.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through Him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lightes every man that comes into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:6-13.

To Believe In The Father Requires Believing In Jesus.

Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. Read More. “Becoming The Children Of The Father.”

Blessed Of The Father.

Those Who Are Blessed.

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, persecute you, and falsely say all evil against you, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5:3-12.

Whosoever Shall Not Be Offended In Me.

And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding His twelve disciples, Jesus departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities. When John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, And said unto Jesus, Are You He that should come, or do we look for another? Read More. “Blessed Of The Father.”

Abundant Provision Of The Father.

The Goodness Of The Father.

And Mary said, My soul does magnify the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour. For He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden: behold, from henceforth, all generations shall call me blessed. For He that is mighty has done to me great things, and Holy is His name.

And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation. He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

He has filled the hungry with good things and sent the rich empty away. He has holpen His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy; As He spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to His seed forever. Luke 1:46-55.

Our Father Knows Our Needs.

“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray, standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Read More. “Abundant Provision Of The Father.”

Following Jesus No Turning Back.

Counting The Cost.

And there went great multitudes with Jesus: and He turned, and said unto them, If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be My disciple.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, first sits down and counts the cost, whether he has sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build and was unable to finish. Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not first sit down and consult whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends an ambassador and desires conditions of peace. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that does not forsake all that he has, he cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:25-33.

Be Fully Persuaded.

Honour The Son, Honour The Father.

All Men Should Honour The Son.

Then Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do: for what things soever the Father does, these also does the Son likewise. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things He does: and the Father will shew Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
